<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide caller-identification information, in spoken, to visually-impaired users. <P>SOLUTION: A first party creates and edits a phonetic-alphabet representation for its name. The phonetic-alphabet representation is conveyed to a second party as caller-identification information by messages that set up a call between the parties.
