<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system preventing leakage of information stored in a portable storage medium by limiting an information processor using the portable storage medium, and to provide an information processing method, a computer program and a storage medium group. <P>SOLUTION: When data is copied from a source PC1b to a destination PC1a, the destination PC1a causes each of connected first USB memory 2 and second USB memory 3 to store a first secret key and a first open key. When the second USB memory 3 is connected, the source PC1b encrypts data by using the first open key stored in the second USB memory 3 and causes the second USB memory 3 to stores the data. The second USB memory 3 storing the encrypted data is disconnected from the source PC1b and connected to the destination PC1a.
