<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface circuit capable of commoditizing a substrate, a software and the like in a plurality of kinds of data communication modes, while evading collision, operation abnormality and the like of a data from occurring when a plurality of connection parts is erroneously connected to a mating side unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Data communication via either one of connector 11 or 12 of I/F1 connector 11 and I/F2 connector 12 is invalidated by buffers 13, 14, in response to an input of an enable signal via the other of the connector 11 or 12.
