PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shipping method of a carbonized material by which an combustibles content of the carbonized material manufactured by using an organic waste as a raw material can be instantaneously and accurately measured and the carbonized material can be classified according to the combustibles content and shipped for respective uses. SOLUTION: Bulk specific gravity of granular carbonized material obtained by carbonizing the organic waste in a carbonization furnace 1 is measured, the carbonized material having comparatively low specific gravity and the carbonized material having comparatively high specific gravity are classified and stored as the carbonized material having a high combustibles content and the carbonized material having a low combustibles content, respectively, in silos 7, 8 and 9 to be shipped according to uses. If the carbonization furnace 1 is formed as a fluidized bed type carbonization furnace, the carbonized material having a uniform particle diameter can be obtained.
