A gas sealing method of a shock absorber and an apparatus thereof are provided to make an oil seal rise due to the rising of a piston rod when injecting gas into the shock absorber. A gas apparatus method of a shock absorber comprises a shock absorber(10), a gas injection(20), a piston rod rising jig(30), and an oil seal fixing jig(40). The shock absorber comprises a piston rod(13) and an oil seal(15) within a base shell(11). A reinforcing ring shape plate(15a) is attached to the oil seal. The gas injection jig is positioned at the left and right of the base shell. A gas injector(21) is formed in the gas injection jig. The gas injection jig surrounds the base shell to be sealed. The piston rod rising jig is positioned on the top of the base shell. The oil seal fixing jig is positioned in the base shell to be moved vertically in the upper of the base shell.
