摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection inspecting method whereby an inspection accuracy can be improved by monitoring that a noise level is at a proper value and reducing a rate of wrong detection, and to provide a liquid ejection inspecting apparatus, and a printer. SOLUTION: At the time of inspecting the presence or absence of ejection of ink droplets from an ink nozzle on the basis of a current change amount at a head cap 63 by making the ink droplets ejected from the ink nozzle of a printing head 14 in a state that a potential difference is generated between the printing head 14 where a plurality of nozzles for ejecting the ink droplets are formed and the head cap 63 disposed oppositely to the printing head 14 via a gap, the current change amount in a state of refraining ejection of the ink droplets is measured for each nozzle array by a plurality of the number of times, an average value of the measured values is calculated, and whether or not the average value is not larger than a preliminarily set target value is determined.
