Device for tolerance band control of the phase currents of a three-phase three-point pulse rectifier system (3) feeds control commands (14) to a valve arrangement (8) of the rectifier system as output from phase control parts (15). At each phase control part on the input side the assigned phase current control difference (16) is applied and fed to a switching part (18) with hysteresis. The phase current actual values (2) are converted into expanded phase current actual values (29). A zero potential actual value is formed as the output of a first subtractor (34) and a local zero potential nominal mean value is tapped at the output of a second subtractor (41).
