PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a widely available computer system capable of performing exclusive control and switching resources shared among computers by resetting a working computer when a failure occurs to the working computer in the widely available computer system of a cluster configuration. SOLUTION: According to the exclusive control method, when the failure occurs to a system in the cluster, the system in the cluster which detects the failure issues reset on the basis of priority and the failed system stops.
