<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a variation related to a damping effect of a head suspension, and to increase productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A head suspension manufacturing method includes a punching step of penetrating a damping base material 31 from a restraining body layer to a viscoelastic body layer using a hollow punching punch 51 to punch the damping base material in a predetermined shape and maintaining the punched damping material piece 73 at a hollow internal surface 59, a positioning step of matching the relative relationship between the punching punch 51 where the damping material piece 73 is held at the inner side surface 59, and a target portion, and a step of pushing out the damping material piece 73 and pasting the damping material piece to the target portion using an ejector pin 61 which is inserted in the punching punch 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
