A spring operator of a breaker of a gas insulated switchgear is provided to reduce a control current and an operation time by reducing a size of a solenoid. A spring operator of a gas insulated switchgear includes a lever(100), a main latch(200), a solenoid(300), and a restrainer(400). The lever rotates with a driving shaft(110). The main latch releases or restrains the lever. The solenoid provides an operation force for releasing the lever. The restrainer is movably coupled with the lever. The restrainer maintains the restraining state of the lever in an interrupting operation of a breaker. The restrainer returns the lever to an original position in an opening operation of the breaker. The restrainer includes a restraining block(410) and an elastic member(420). The restraining block contacts with the main latch to restrain the lever. The elastic member provides the restoring force for the rotation of the restraining block.
