A media feeding mechanism is provided to smoothly progress the pick-up and the exhaustion of the paper medium by pressurizing the paper medium. A media feeding mechanism comprises a receiving part(110), a pick-up separation unit(120) and a presser portion(130). The receiving part accommodates the paper medium. The pick-up separation unit is positioned at the front upper part of the receiving part, and picks up and ejects paper medium to upstream. The presser portion pressurizes the paper medium while moving to the either before or after about the receiving part. The presser portion comprises the plate. The plate is inclined to the lower part of pick-up separation unit. |
