PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that an IC tag is broken by the heat of a heating roll and the pressure of a pressure roll, and the IC tag can not be used, when an IC tag paper is fixed in a nip portion formed by the heating roll and pressure roll of a fixing section. SOLUTION: A printer includes: a paper feeding section; a developing section; the fixing section forming a nip by the heating roll and the pressure roll; and a paper conveying section and prints a toner image on the IC tag paper in which the IC tag is embedded. In the printer, when the printing width of the IC tag paper is defined as P and a nip length is defined as N, N=P is set. When the maximum width of one IC tag is defined as T, the paper conveyance width A and printing range width B of the printer are set to A=B≥P+2T. The paper feeding section includes: a detection section detecting the position of the IC tag of the IC tag paper; a pair of paper guides; and a pair of link mechanisms. The pair of paper guides can be moved in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance of the IC tag paper by the pair of link mechanisms. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
