PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile wireless terminal apparatus capable of enabling that radio wave is not transmitted and received without turning a power supply off with a simple structure at low cost. SOLUTION: A mobile wireless terminal apparatus 1 has: an antenna 6 for transmitting and receiving radio waves; a transmission and reception circuit 21 transmitting and receiving radio waves by the antenna 6; a transmission and reception prohibiting switch 22 disconnecting between the antenna 6 and the transmission and reception circuit 21; and a movable member 23 operated by a user to operate the transmission and reception prohibiting switch 22. The transmission and reception prohibiting switch 22 has an antenna side contact 31, a circuit side contact 32, and a contact opening and closing member 33 opening and closing between the antenna side contact 31 and the circuit side contact 32. In the transmission and reception prohibiting switch 22, the movable member 23 is moved by an operation of the user to press the contact opening and closing member 33 and to separate the contact opening and closing member 33 from the antenna side contact 31, and as a result, the antenna 6 and the transmission and reception circuit 21 are disconnected.
