PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device in which images are displayed approximately concurrently on both display screens by more effectively utilizing a shared bus, a photographing apparatus provided with the image display device, and a signal processing method packaged in the image display device. SOLUTION: During a horizontal blanking term (H_BLK) while outputting Video data from a multiplexer using eight signal lines, a multiplexer MUX is switched by a switching signal synchronized to a horizontal synchronizing signal of the Video data, and LCD data are supplied to a line memory that is a display buffer by using 18 pieces of signal lines (DATA "0 to 17"). An LCD driver drives an LCD according to the LCD data within the line memory, and the same image as an image based on the Video data is displayed on an LCD panel in accordance with horizontal synchronization of the Video data.
