<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a magnet that avoids structural deficiencies despite its thin structure and suppresses material loss, a magnet obtained by the method, and an apparatus for producing a molding product used for obtaining the magnet. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a magnet of includes: a step to supply slurry S containing magnetic powder and dispersion medium into the cavity C of a molding apparatus 12; a step to obtain a molding product by performing compression molding on the slurry S while impressing a magnetic field on the slurry S; and a step to obtain a magnet by sintering the molding product. The molding apparatus 12 is provided with a through-hole 121a through which the slurry S is supplied, a metal mold 121 having a slurry supplying hole 121d formed on an internal wall surface 121b, a metal mold 122 inserted into the through-hole 121a, and a metal mold 123 where a cavity C is formed together with the metal molds 123 and 122. The slurry S is supplied so that its amount may be no more than the capacity of the cavity C when the metal mold 122 is inserted into the through-hole 121a to fill up the slurry supplying hole 121d.
