PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal Fresnel lens wherein electric conduction reliability of a transparent conductive film on the surface of a Fresnel lens is heightened. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal Fresnel lens has: a first transparent substrate wherein the fresnel lens is formed on one surface thereof, a first transparent electrode is provided on the surface of the Fresnel lens, and at least one or more notched parts are provided at an edge line of each ring body of the Fresnel lens; a second transparent substrate having a second transparent electrode on one surface thereof; the surface of the second transparent electrode of the second transparent substrate, disposed so as to be opposed to the surface of the Fresnel lens of the first transparent substrate; and a liquid crystal disposed between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate.
