The method involves ascertaining destination identification (Ke-1) with an article. A checking is made to find whether a display device displays change in destination (X1) of the article. The article is transported to a specific destination when the display device displays the change in the destination. The article is transported to the destination associated with the article when the display device does not display the change in the destination. Read destination identification is stored in a read result database (5). An independent claim is also included for a device for transporting a set of articles.
