A channel conversion apparatus in a digital broadcasting receiver is provided to immediately display a title image of a corresponding converted channel, thereby quickly grasping contents of a program broadcast in a converted channel. A main receiver(45) receives a digital broadcasting signal through all kinds of digital broadcasting media. If a sub receiver finishes scanning all channels, a broadcasting signal is received with regard to each channel from the beginning. A broadcasting signal demodulated in the main receiver is outputted through a display module(14). A title image decoder(43) decodes the broadcasting signal demodulated in a sub receiver. The title image decoder extracts a title image. A storage management unit(44) stores and manages each channel title image extracted from the title image decoder in a storage.
