<p>The device (1) has a variable gear ratio system (4) varying a control angle ratio, and a rotation angle detection device for detecting a relative rotation angle between a steering shaft (12) and a rotation member (13). Rotation member sided magnetic field detection devices are provided for detecting a variation of magnetic flow density of a magnetic field. An electric power steering system (6) has an electric motor (5), and supports steering of a steered wheel by output power of the motor, where the motor and an electric motor (3) of the ratio system are enfolded in a module. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling steering of a vehicle.</p> |
