PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disassemble and remove an upper floor slab of an underground structure while improving safety, shortening a construction period, reducing cost, and shortening a road occupying time. SOLUTION: This method is provided for disassembling and removing an upper floor slab 2 of the hollow underground structure 1 which is embedded under a ground and formed with the upper floor slab 2, a lower floor slab 3 and both side wall slabs 4. It comprises a large block cutting step of cutting the upper floor slab 2 into a large block 10 on a support 9, a support removing step of suspending and supporting the large block 10 with a center hole type hydraulic jack 20 and then removing the support 9, a large block lowering step of lowering the large block 10 onto the lower floor slab 3, a small block cutting step of cutting the large block 10 into a small block 11 on the lower floor slab 3, and a small block carrying-out step of horizontally moving the small block 11 onto the lower floor slab near a carry-out port 12 with a winch 22 provided in a pit and then carrying it out of the carrying-out port 12 to the outside of the pit.
