TRANSMITTER, RECEIVER, AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

The timing at which VoIP packet data is transmitted/received by radio is allowed to be accurately detected. A transmitter (1) transmits the VoIP packet data to a receiver (2) by radio. At this moment, a transmission section (1a) of the transmitter (1) transmits the signal used for the timing detection of the radio communication by means of the receiver (2) by using a frequency band wider than the transmission frequency band of the VoIP packet data.A timing detection section (2a) of the receiver (2) performs the timing detection of the radio communication according to the signal from the transmitter (1) transmitted by using the frequency band wider than the transmission frequency band of the VoIP packet data.
