PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a coaxial connector capable of surface mounting on a circuit board without accompanying deterioration of characteristics. SOLUTION: The coaxial connector 50 has a center conductor 51, a surrounding conductor 52 to surround the center conductor 51, and an insulating housing 60. The center conductor 51 has a leg part 51a at its root side. The surrounding conductor 52 has six lugs 56 radially overhung at its root side. The leg part 51a and the lugs 56 are exposed to the bottom face of the housing 60. In a state that the leg part 51a is pushed to a pad 71 for a signal of the circuit board 70, and electrically connected, and that the lugs 56 are pressed to the ground pad 72 and electrically connected, the coaxial connector 50 is mounted on the circuit board 70.
