PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transferring head of a laser transfer device, capable of appropriately maintaining distance of a transfer material and a transfer object, and accurately performing transfer operation, in the laser transfer device such as a laser repair device. SOLUTION: The transfer head includes: a transfer plate holder which holds a transfer plate at an under face; a transfer head body having space for accommodating the transfer plate holder, which gives a position reference in horizontal and vertical directions; a holder supporting mechanism for supporting the transfer plate holder accommodated in the space of the transfer head body so as to be vertically movable and horizontally not movable, with reference to the transfer head body; a transfer plate raising means for raising the transfer plate together with the transfer plate holder over a transfer object face, by injecting pressured air under the transfer plate holder downward; a transfer plate holding mechanism capable of stopping vertical motion of the transfer plate holder to the transfer head body at an arbitrary vertical position and holding it at the vertical position; and a pressured air injection control valve for switching on and off the pressured air injection in the transfer plate raising means.
