<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a sectional image of soil, etc., clearly and enable depth which can be detected to be deepened by obtaining a zero-point compensation value based on a signal level for each depth position which is obtained by receiving a reflection wave of a signal which is radiated to an object to be detected. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic wave is radiated while antennas 8a and 8b are being scanned in a direction of an arrow 12. A reflection wave is received by the antenna 8b and is sent to a processing circuit 14 such as a microcomputer, where arithmetic operation is performed, via a reception circuit 13. The reflection wave is received, a signal level (x, y) of the reflection wave for each depth position is obtained, and a zero-point compensation value Sz (x, y) is obtained based on the signal level. Also, a value R (y) or E (y) corresponding to an energy of the signal level is obtained based on the zero-point compensation value Sz (x, y) and the zero-point compensation value Sz (x, y) is divided by the value R (y) or E (y) corresponding to the energy, thus obtaining a signal level SG (x, y) for each position, enabling an image to be displayed and a shade of the image to be adjusted in depth direction, and obtaining an clear image.</p> |
