An apparatus of displaying information of a dashboard for a vehicle is provided to easily check driving information and system check list in the dashboard. An apparatus of displaying information of a dashboard for a vehicle comprises of the step of displaying a main menu for a user interface while operating as a normal dashboard(S101,S103). If a user selects a trip computer menu in the main menu, driving information is extracted and then displayed in the form of characters(S107,S109). If the user selects a system check menu, a system check item is extracted from a memory unit and then sequentially displayed(S111,S113). If a system setting menus is selected, a menu for setting a system is displayed and then the system is set based on a setting item input by the user(S115,S117).
