PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching device which can change a punching location, based on input sheet information and punching information. SOLUTION: The punching device is formed of a sheet carrying means, and a punching means for punching holes into a sheet carried by the sheet carrying means. The punching device is further formed of an operation input means for inputting sheet information on the size of the sheet, and punching information on the location of the holes and the number of the holes formed in the sheet, and a control means for controlling a sheet carrying quantity, based on the sheet information input by the operation input means, and controlling the punching operation of the punching means into the sheet, based on the punching information input by the operation input means.
