PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet coupling type rotating power transmission device capable of accurately determining the relative position relationship between magnetic poles of a plurality of magnets. SOLUTION: The rotating power transmission device transmits rotating power from an input shaft 11 in the atmosphere to an output shaft 23 in vacuum. Power transmission from the input shaft 11 to the output shaft 23 is based on the interaction of a driving side magnet 14 and first and second driven side magnets 241, 242. A positioning ring 100 is provided between the first driven side magnet 241 and the second driven side magnet 242. The first driven side magnet 241 and the second driven side magnet 242 are thereby positioned so that the mutual arrangement of axially opposed magnetic poles is in agreement.
