PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a minute depression 2 forming a dynamic pressure generation surface and a depression 3 deeper than the depression 2 forming the dynamic pressure generation surface in a rolling contact surface effectively and accurately. SOLUTION: The minute depression 2 forming the dynamic pressure generation surface is formed by laser machining, and the depression 3 deeper than the depression 2 forming the dynamic pressure generation surface is formed by etching, so that the depressions 2, 3 having two different depths can be arranged in the rolling contact surface effectively and accurately.
