The connecting unit has a borehole provided as a seat for an eccentric tappet (3) adjacent to a groove of clamping disks (2). A steel cable (1) is inserted into the groove, and the tappet is placed such that the cable is retained in the groove when the tappet is partially rotated. A slotted hole (8) for fastening units (4) e.g. screw, is inserted into the disks such that an angle of rotation of the disks corresponds to the angle of the cable when the disks are rotated against each other. The disks are compressed by exerting pressure on the cable by the slotted hole.
