PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge ventilation device, capable of efficiently performing attic ventilation even in case that a ridge beam is present below a ventilation opening. SOLUTION: The ridge ventilation device 1 which is set in the ventilation opening 3 opened in a ridge part of a roof board 1 of a roof comprises a fan storage cylindrical body 5 placed on the upper surface of a ridge beam 4, a suction duct 6 suspended down to an attic, and an exhaust dust 7. A ridge cover 8 which covers the upper part of the ventilation opening 3 has a number of ventilation ports 8c formed in a raised part 8b. A fan 5a is stored within the cylindrical body 5, and a feedable and exhaustable pipe fan is used therefor. A flexible tube is used as the suction duct 6, and the duct 6 is suspended down to an appropriate height so that hot air and moisture in the attic can be sucked. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
