PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light-emitting device having a light output at an extremely high efficiency and at a high brightness. SOLUTION: The organic light-emitting device 10 has: an anode 2; a cathode 4; and at least a first light-emitting layer 3-1 and a second light-emitting layer 3-2 between the anode 2 and the cathode 4. The organic light-emitting device 10 has a structure characterized in that the first light-emitting layer 3-1 contains a first host and a first guest, and the second light-emitting layer 3-2 contains a second host and a second guest. Further, the first host, the first guest, the second host and the second guest satisfy below-represented relational expressions (1): ¾HOMO(H1)¾<¾HOMO(G1)¾ and (2): ¾LUMO(G2)¾<¾LUMO(H2)¾, and a difference of a maximum light emitting wavelength between the first guest and the second guest is equal to or less than 20 nm.
