The invention relates to methods for producing ceramic films and apparatuses for carrying out said methods. Large-area, thin ceramic parts are produced in a film casting process in which a ceramic slurry (suspension) is used as a casting material. The subject matter of the invention is the part of the ceramic film production process which comprises casting the slurry and solidifying the cast film by means of a crosslinking step using UV irradiation. In order to be able to carry out said solidification step in an assembly line, the thickness of the slurry is adjusted during the casting process by adjusting the distance of the substrate (carrier film 4) from a cover (14) that extends plane-parallel thereto. The cover is UV permeable in at least some areas through which the UV irradiation occurs. In order to create patterns, only subareas are illuminated through a mask. A semiconductor UV source (21) is used as an illumination source. |
