PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a driver to turn to a direction different from a traveling direction, to add the driver flexibility, to easily absorb impact upon collision, and to minimize the damage of a body. SOLUTION: The steering device of the automobile comprises a camera 7 shooting at least the traveling direction, a monitor 4 indicating an outside image by the camera 7, a seat 2 turning the driver 3 in the different direction from the traveling direction, and a steering portion steering a vehicle. The driver 3 can turn the different direction from the traveling direction, so that flexibility is added to a steering posture.
