PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin filament yarn having an ultra-high molecular weight and a small single fiber fineness compared with a conventional yarn, and to provide a polyolefin filament yarn having an ultra-high molecular weight and improved transparency usable as a leader of a fishing line. SOLUTION: The polyolefin yarn is composed of a plurality of bundled polyolefin filaments having an ultra-high molecular weight and a single fiber fineness of≤0.55 dtex and is produced by doubling a plurality of polyolefin multifilament yarns having an ultra-high molecular weight and a single fiber fineness of≥1.1 dtex and drawing the product at a draw ratio of≥2.
