PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comfortable firefighting clothing material having excellent heat insulating property and heat-resistance, especially a fireman uniform material adapted to the strict standard of fire-protection clothing performance. SOLUTION: A thermal insulation felt layer of the fireman uniform material includes 40-70% highly heat-resisting inorganic fiber, 5-55% flame-retardant organic fiber having a fusing temperature or thermal decomposing temperature of about 350°C or higher and 5-25% organic fiber having a low melting point, and is provided by uniformly mixing the fibers to form a web and performing needle-punching treatment and thermal treatment of the obtained web.
