PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal part with a screw hole manufacturable at low cost, preventing lowering of treatment efficiency in the recycle, and having a strong female screw. SOLUTION: This metal part 1 with a screw hole is made of a metal and has a screw hole 2 with a female screw 3. A reformed layer 4 is formed by reforming the metal structure of the portion of the metal part around the screw hole 2 in the range Y wider than the root diameter X of the female screw 3. In this method of the metal part 1, the probe of a friction stirring-joining tool having the same diameter and length as a screw prepared hole diameter and a prepared hole depth, respectively, is buried, while being rotated, in hole-less metal part in which the screw hole 2 is to be formed and extracted to apply a prepared hole drilling for forming the screw prepared hole. A reforming treatment by friction stirring is applied to the portion of the metal part around the screw prepared hole, and a threading processing is applied to the inner peripheral surface of the screw prepared hole for forming the female screw 3.
