<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image device control system capable of constructing a flexible authentication system, and to provide a control device used therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A composite machine control system 500 includes composite machines 1a, 1b, authentication information input devices 7a, 7b, I/F (Interface) converters 8a, 8b, and a control server 2. Here, the control server 2 has: a UI control part 233 for transmitting data of an authentication screen for prompting a user to prepare such that the authentication information input devices 1a, 1b can acquire authentication information to the composite machines 1a, 1b via a network 400; an authentication information input device driver 77 for controlling operation of the authentication information input devices 7a, 7b via the network 400, and receiving the authentication information acquired by the authentication information input devices 7a, 7b via the network 400; an authentication part 73 for performing authentication based on the authentication information received by the authentication information input device driver 77; and a device control part 235 for permitting execution of jobs of the composite machines 1a, 1b according to an authentication result by the authentication part 73. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
