<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate image processing apparatus with small processing loads without the need of an original when electronizing a memo written in a paper document. <P>SOLUTION: A margin area of a prescribed size or larger present in the document of a print object is detected, a memo entry area is inserted into the margin area, and the position information of the margin area to which the memo entry area is inserted is coded and inserted to the document. Also, a print document to which the memo entry area and the position information of the margin area to which the memo entry area is inserted are inserted is read, the position information is extracted from the read print document, and the memo entry area is extracted from the read print document on the basis of the extracted position information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
