PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for placing lining concrete, which enables the lining concrete to be efficiently compacted by reducing man-powered operations, and which enables the compacting of the lining concrete, particularly, on a crest section near existing lining concrete. SOLUTION: A cable 19, which is elongated in the axial direction X of a tunnel through an end mold form 16, is towably arranged in the lining space 17 of the crest section 15 of the tunnel. The direction of the cable 19 is changed in such a manner that the cable is curved downward in an area on the side of the existing lining concrete 18. Thus, a vibrator 21, which is attached to a leading end of the cable 19, is arranged in the state of being suspended from the side section of the tunnel in the lining space 17. The concrete 11 is compacted while the vibrator 21 is lifted by pulling the cable 19, and the vibrator 21 is moved to the crest section 15. After that, the vibrator 21 is arranged in the state of getting closer to the side of the existing lining concrete 18 by being drawn to it, via a tensile linear member 35 which is connected to a leading end portion of the vibrator 21.
