PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peel detection method of a concrete structure by an active infrared method, capable of detecting peeling of concrete with high accuracy, even if the density of irradiation energy is low. SOLUTION: In the peel detection method of the concrete structure 1 by the active infrared method, an infrared camera 4 is fixed facing the concrete structure 1 to heat the specific place of the concrete structure 1 by a heater 2, and after the entire target surrounding is uniformly heated by successively moving the heating place, this heating is stopped. A large number of the infrared images of the concrete structure 1 are photographed by the infrared camera 4, at a predetermined short time interval from the start of the irradiation of an irradiation spot, and the temperatures recorded on the respective pixels in the infrared image are independently added to each other by a predetermined number of sheets to calculate theintegrated temperature to form a composited image, and this distribution of the integrated temperature is represented by the density of a color.
