<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device which can correct aberration caused due to temperature change of an objective lens. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device which is provided with; an aberration correction element 5 arranged in order to correct the aberration which appears in a spot in an optical path of a laser beam guided from a laser diode 1 to an objective lens 7; a temperature detection means which detects temperature of the objective lens 7 based on a resistance value of a focusing coil 10; an aberration correction data memory circuit 28 storing data for correcting the aberration generated due to the temperature change of the objective lens 7 with the aberration correction element 5, reads aberration correction data corresponding to the temperature of the objective lens 7 from the aberration correction data memory circuit 28 and controls the aberration correction component 5 based on the read aberration correction data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
