PURPOSE:To perform highly accurate analysis short in a response time and excellent in operability by measuring at least one or more of the voltage, current and quantity of electricity in a detector. CONSTITUTION:A detector consists of a diaphragm 1, the detection electrode chamber 3 having a detection electrode 2 and opposed electrode chamber 5 having a counter electrode 4 respectively provided on both sides of the diaphragm 1 so as to hold the diaphragm 1 therebetween, the permeable membrane 7 provided to the sample charging surface of the detection electrode chamber 3, the sample chamber 8 adjacent to the detection electrode chamber 3 through the permeable membrane 7, the capillary tube 9 for allowing a sample to flow in and out provided to the sample chamber 8 and a sample pump 10. The substance to be quantified in the sample introduced into the sample chamber 8 through the capillary tube 9 by the sample pump 10 is applied to the detection electrode 2 of the detection electrode chamber 3 through the permeable membrane 7 to be electrolyzed and the voltage, current or quantity of electricity at this time is taken out through lead wires 6 to quantify the substance to be quantified. The sample from which the substance to be quantified is removed is discharged out of the sample chamber 8 through the capillary tube 9 provided in the direction opposite to the inlet of the sample chamber 8. |
