Various embodiments are described herein for a combiner. The combiner inc ludes first and second transmission lines, a dielectric material disposed ab out the first and second transmission lines, an intermediate conductor arran gement disposed about the dielectric material, and an outer conductor arrang ement disposed about the intermediate conductor. The dielectric material has a dielectric constant higher than that of air, and the intermediate conduct or arrangement has reactive portions.
