An oil pump is provided to prevent backflow of oil when the gear݆s teeth are meshed each other by installing an oil guide at an inner surface of an oil outlet where a drive gear and a slave gear are contacted. An oil pump comprises a housing(10) having an oil outlet(20) and an oil inlet(30), a drive gear(40), a slave gear(50), and an oil guide(100). The drive gear and the slave gear are outer-geared between the oil inlet and the oil outlet, rotate to transfer oil from the oil inlet to the oil outlet. The oil guide is formed at an inner surface of the oil outlet contacted to the drive gear and the slave gear to prevent leakage of oil from the oil outlet to the oil inlet. |
