<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with an excellent preservation property capable of maintaining discharge rate characteristics even after high-temperature preservation. <P>SOLUTION: Of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery provided with a cathode having on a cathode collector a cathode active material layer capable of reversibly absorbing and releasing lithium ion, an anode having on an anode collector an anode active material layer capable of reversibly absorbing and releasing lithium, and nonaqueous electrolyte solution with lithium ion conductivity, at least either the cathode or the anode has a coating on the surface, and at least one among the cathode, the anode, and the nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains a nitrogen-containing cyclic compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
