PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent both casings from rattling when opened or closed in a slide type compact electronic apparatus comprising a first casing and a second casing which are engaged so as to mutually slide with a slide mechanism. SOLUTION: In the slide type compact electronic apparatus, an elastic member 8 elastically deformable in a direction perpendicular to a facing surface on the surface of the first casing facing the second casing. On the surface of the second casing facing the first casing, a convex part 25 is formed which slides with the surface of the elastic member 8 when closed or opened so as to elastically deform the elastic member 8.
