PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily search for an unlocking code without a special searching device. SOLUTION: This code lock device includes an unlocking code search mechanism 100 for searching for an unlocking code of every dial. The unlocking code search mechanism 100 includes a mechanism for displacing an operating shaft over a preset amount in response to the rotation when an inner cylinder is rotated exceeding a rotating angle range of an outer cylinder of an actuator; and searching members 101 for an unlocking code disposed on the positions of the dials on the operating shaft, respectively. An engagement step part 57 is formed on the side surface of a lock gear 4 opposite to the search member 101. The search member 101 includes a projecting part 105, wherein when the operating shaft is displaced over the preset amount, the projecting part 105 abuts on the side surface of the lock gear 5 in the state of allowing the rotation of the lock gear 5 for the lock gear 5 corresponding to the dial of the rotating angle where the unlocking code is not arranged, and engages with the engagement step part 57 to regulate the rotation of the lock gear 5 for the lock gear 5 corresponding to the dial of the rotating angle where an unlocking code is arranged.
