The present invention provides a method for suppressing protein aggregati on in a liquid formulation during freeze-thaw by including sorbitol in the l iquid formulation. The present invention also provides methods for storing a nd preparing a liquid formulation containing a protein and sorbitol such tha t the presence of sorbitol suppresses protein aggregation during freezing an d/or thawing.
