PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an all solid ultraviolet laser oscillator in which high conversion efficiency is stably achieved by using a nonlinear optical crystal, for example, single crystalline lithium tetraborate LB4 and which withstands practical use. SOLUTION: The oscillator includes a green laser oscillator 10 which oscillates coherent light of a wavelength 532 nm and an LB4 crystal box 23 on which the light from the green laser oscillator 10 is made incident as incident light. The LB4 crystal box 23 is arranged with the single crystalline lithium tetraborate LB4 which converts the incident light and emits exit light of 266 nm so as to satisfy a phase matching angle. A heating device which heats and holds the LB4 crystal to and at 200 to 600°C is built therein. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
