<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent/graft to be used for the treatment of a vascular abnormal part without blocking the bloodstream to a branched blood vessel. <P>SOLUTION: The stent/graft to be fed by a catheter comprises an innermost tubular structure 23 (of the length L1) surrounded by at least one other tubular structure 26 or 30 (of the length L2), and at least one connection means 37 for connecting the innermost tubular structure and the other tubular structure. Each tubular structure is made of a high elastic alloy braided wire, which can be extended in the longitudinal direction. Accordingly, the stent/graft can be easily inserted into the catheter by contracting the dimensions in the radial direction of the braided wire, and when the stent/graft is pulled out of the catheter at the treatment location, the stent/graft expands by itself to be engaged with the vascular wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
